With over 20 years of experience and thousands of successful treatments, Dr. Sax brings unmatched expertise to Lakewood Ranch. As a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon from the University of Michigan, he founded University Park Dermatology in 2001 and represents the gold standard in dermatological care with his 98%+ cure rate for skin cancer treatments.
Dr. Leah S. Cohen, MD – Board-Certified Dermatologist
We’re proud to welcome Ivy League-trained Dr. Cohen to our Lakewood Ranch team. She completed her residency at the nation’s leading dermatology program at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was selected for the prestigious combined residency and cutaneous oncology fellowship program. Dr. Cohen graduated #2 in her class from FIU’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Heidi K. Anderson, MD – Dermatologist & Founder of Skin Vitality M.D.
Dr. Anderson brings over 20 years of trusted patient care to our practice. A Princeton University graduate with a Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology, she earned her Medical Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After completing pediatric residency at the University of Cincinnati, she specialized in dermatology at the same institution. Dr. Anderson excels in managing skin diseases, skin cancer treatment, autoimmune conditions, surgical excisions, laser treatments, and both pediatric and adult dermatology.
