Dr. David Sax founded University Park Dermatology in 2001 to provide expert medical care with unparalleled personal attention. A board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, Dr. Sax completed his dermatology residency at the prestigious University of Michigan and his fellowship in Columbus, Ohio. With a medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University, he’s been recognized as a Castle Connolly Award Winner and US News & World Report Top Doctor (2012-2019). Carlee LaPensee, MSN, DCNP, APRN-C – Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner
A Sarasota native with over 10 years of dermatology experience, Carlee is a board-certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner who graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with her Master of Science degree. She specializes in skin cancer screenings and surgical removal, treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, and has advanced training in aesthetic treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, laser therapy, and photo-rejuvenation.
