Dr. Sax is board certified dermatologist serving patients in Sarasota, Bradenton and outlying areas. He founded University Park Dermatology in 2001 with a mission to provide patients with expert medical care. He is an expert in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer. In addition to medical dermatology, he and his team provide a wide range of premium cosmetic skin care services.

Dr. Cohen is an Ivy League-trained Dermatologist who completed her residency at the nation’s leading dermatology program — the University of Pennsylvania — where she was selected for the prestigious combined residency and cutaneous oncology fellowship program.

Carlee LaPensee, MSN, DCNP, APRN-C
Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner
Carlee is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner with special board certification in Dermatology with over 10 years of medical and cosmetic Dermatology experience. Carlee completed both her undergraduate and graduate work at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She graduated Cum Laude with her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2009. She specializes in skin cancer screenings and surgical removal of skin cancers, as well as the treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, and many other skin conditions. She has also advanced training in Aesthetics and anti-aging treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, laser therapy and photo-rejuvenation.
Jesse LeBaron, MPAS, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Jesse is a Physician Assistant that specializes in dermatology. She graduated from The University of Florida with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018. She has an Undergraduate degree at UF with a double major in Biology and Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. She specializes in skin cancer screenings and surgical removal of skin cancers, also the treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis and many other skin conditions. She has advanced training in cosmetic dermatology as well including lasers, Botox, and fillers.
Karrie Waynick, LE
Karrie is a licensed Aesthetician graduating from Manatee Technical College with honors. Karrie immediately applied her skills with a holistic practice. It is here she acquired her passion for holistic skincare and started applying modern approaches with holistic methods.
